DANGER! False Christians poisoning the gospel through heresy

2 Peter 2:1
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, and will bring swift destruction on themselves.

There are myriads of false Christians especially in the online journaling world who are bringing in destructive heresies. Introducing the doctrine of keeping unbelievers unaware of their sins and not telling them about God’s wrath as found in Colossians 3:5-6 “5 Therefore, put to death what belongs to your worldly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these, God’s wrath comes on the disobedient.”

We must preach the entire counsel of God which is love and judgment. Right before His seconding coming He will unleash His wrath on mankind (the 7 year Tribulation). I will show this tragedy with an illustration if you withhold the whole truth about their sin.

One Saturday morning at 7:00 am, a person wakes up to a beautiful day feeling great and starts to get ready for a doctor’s appointment to get the results of a medical testing conducted few weeks ago. He gets into his car, puts on the radio listening to his favorite music as he sings along. The day couldn’t get any better. He arrives at the hospital, checks in and sits down as he patiently waits for his name to be called all the while thinking how he is going to spend the rest of his wonderful day after his appointment. His name gets called, leaping out of his seat with a big smile goes in to see the doctor.

When he sees the doctor with a weird look on his face his stomach starts to turn having a funny sensation. Instead of telling him how his deadly illness will literally number his earthly existence unless the patient takes the recommended treatments, the doctor seeing that his patient is young and happy didn’t want to ruin his life with the devastating diagnosis and holds himself from disclosing how sick his patient really is. The young man leaves the hospital thinking he has a long and happy life ahead of him not knowing that his dark days of suffering looms in his immediate future without any hope. If a person doesn’t know that he is sick, he will never seek treatment.

This is what false Christians are teaching in their social media venue for true Christians to do and end up letting sinners continue to live and let live without repenting and forsaking their sinful lifestyle by just telling them Jesus loves them, failing to explain the reason why Jesus loves them as seen in Jude 1:4 “For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.”

Jesus died on the cross to cleanse us from our sins through faith in Him by putting our trust in Him and forsaking our sinful nature. We have to always couple together when preaching the good news about Jesus’ love and also being a righteous judge who has to punish sin if the sinner doesn’t believe in Jesus as Lord and savior. A true Christian shows his trust in Jesus after conversion by forsaking his sinful lifestyle which is a byproduct of genuine saving faith in Christ.

We as Christians must expose this demonic doctrine which is a sugarcoated gospel keeping people from repenting of their sins hence letting them live on with their false conversion. A great example is a liberal Christian who thinks it’s OK to be a practicing homosexual and still be a Christian ( which by the way is an oxymoron). I leave you with this warning from scripture:

2 John 1:9-10
9 Anyone who does not remain in Christ’s teaching but goes beyond it, does not have God. The one who remains in that teaching, this one has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your home, and don’t say, “Welcome,” to him;

The last part in verse 10 just means we are to distance ourselves and not support or participate with a false teacher.

Homosexuality: Did God make them that way?

1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or anyone practicing homosexuality, no thieves, greedy people, drunkards, verbally abusive people, or swindlers will inherit God’s kingdom.

Homosexuality in Greek is arsenokoites (ar-sen-ok-oy’-tace) which means a male engaging in same-gender sexual activity.

I want to make something clear that if a man or woman has sexual urges for the same sex but does not act on them but restrain themselves because of Christ, that person has not sinned. We all have urges to sin; a man being enticed by another woman who’s not his wife or a woman being enticed with another man other than her husband. Some get tempted to steal. As for others, pride is their downfall wanting to be better than others. We struggle in this sinful vessel which we call the flesh because we are all born in sin. For Christians are always and I mean always swimming upstream fighting against our flesh not to sin against the Lord.

Most of the gay community declare that God made them that way and it’s alright to engage in their desire. That is a flat out lie because as Psalms 51:5 says “Indeed, I was guilty when I was born; I was sinful when my mother conceived me.” We know that sin did not come from God but from Adam according to: Romans 5:12 “When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.” God made Adam/Eve perfect without sin until they disobeyed the Lord’s command hence sin entering the human race through them.

How do we know for sure that homosexuality is not from God? It goes against His purpose for the human race. When He first made us, His intent was to multiply through procreation which is found in Genesis 1:27-28 “27 So God created man in His own image; He created him in the image of God; He created them male and female. 28 God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and every creature that crawls on the earth.” Jesus Himself affirmed this in Matthew 19:4 that was the purpose of God in creating men (humans) so that they could multiply on the face of the earth and homosexuality goes against God’s will because it halts the continuity of the human race.

Even nature itself testifies to this truth by showing that same-sex relations cannot produce an offspring and they (the homosexuals) would have to thank God for their parents not being gay or else they wouldn’t be alive on earth to live a life of immorality. To reiterate what I said earlier that if a gay person says that God made them that way, clearly that statement is in opposition to scripture found in 1 Timothy 1:10-11 “10 for the sexually immoral and homosexuals, for kidnappers, liars, perjurers, and for whatever else is contrary to the sound teaching 11 based on the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was entrusted to me.” Scripture plainly says in 1 Timothy 1 that one of the sins contrary to the gospel of God is homosexuality.

Homosexuality is a sin but that doesn’t mean that God hates them or anyone else that’s engaging in others sins. God loves them as seen in Romans 5:7-8 “7 For rarely will someone die for a just person—though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die. 8 But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!” God’s desire is for all to come to Him in repentance and place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Christ will make them a new creature with a new heart and a desire to live a life in obedience to the scriptures as found in 1 John 3:9, No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God.

As Christians, we are called to love the homosexuals but hate their lifestyle as seen in Jude 1:22-23 “22 And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. 23 Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives.” and show them by telling them the truth, regardless of how it is being received, that Jesus will forgive their sins if they repent (change their minds) and believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior.

The truth is always a bitter pill to swallow, but the worse thing a Christian can do is to be silent and withhold truth.
