22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Love: Loving difficult people because love is one of the strongest ways to show Christ in you.
Joy: In any troublesome situation in your life, rejoice because the Lord will come to your rescue and it shows that you depend on Him.
Peace: No matter how strong the storm is in your life, Jesus will give you an inner peace if you seek His face first in times of crisis.
Patience: To be patient means to trust in God’s timing. We must exercise patience and only act in any situation by the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
Kindness: Always treat others as you would like to be treated. Help, love, and put others above yourself, just like Christ gave up His life for you.
Goodness: God is good, how much more can we show God in us but by being good. Being a good person means looking for the best interest of others and having integrity.
Faith: To please the Lord is to be faithful by reading His Word and praying, seeking first the kingdom of heaven and His righteousness.
Gentleness: Treat people with a gentle and loving attitude. Whenever they come to you with a problem, let the person know that you will see him/her through it.
Self-Control: Self-control is one of the hardest things to do in any temptation. I think that the best way to build up ones self-control is reliance on the Lord Jesus Christ’s strength by intaking His Word daily.
If you walk by the Spirit, you will not leave any room for the flesh to operate in your life.
