Cookie a day: Jesus Wants To Use You In A Mighty Way Today

“I assure you: The one who believes in Me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.

 John 14:12

Believers in Jesus Christ will do the same miracles that He did because the same God who did those miracles dwells in us. I’m not saying that one can raise the dead whenever he’s confronted with it but if Jesus wants He can use you to do so because He lives in you and nothing is impossible with God. When Jesus said, “And he will do even greater works than these”, He wasn’t referring to more extraordinary miracles than His but that we would have a wider ministry than His earthly one. Jesus only stayed in Israel while Christians today will reach the world by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Ask Jesus today to use you in a mighty way to bring people to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.

  1. I literally got awoken this morning with a demon charging at me as I said In Jesus name while I kicked it. I won’t dream of being able to cast demons out but that would indeed be great if I would have the full power of the Holy Spirit without any shred of fear as I cast it away from me. In the dream, I did have fear.

  2. Should you and other people who call themselves Christian believe what Jesus says and even more what his heavenly Father says?

So why do you not believe Jesus is the Way to God, but believe he is the way to himself you taking him to be God, whilst Jesus worshipped the only true Gdo, the God of Abraham, Who is the God of Israel Who is not a trinity but only One God Who is One.

    1. First of all, Christians to believe that Jesus is the way to God according to John 14:6 which says, 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

In the same chapter, Jesus says that He and God are the same, seeing Him is seeing God when one of His disciples wanted to see God (Father).

The heavenly Father is clearly God which you will agree. I added God in parentheses so you can see that Jesus said seeing Him is seeing God the Father.

      John 14:8-10
8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father (God), and it is sufficient for us.”
9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father (God); so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father (God)’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father (God), and the Father (God) in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father (God) who dwells in Me does the works.

      1. In the same chapter Jesus does not say at all that he and his heavenly Father are one and the same. He says they are one in spirit. In the same way a family should be one , but that does not make the father being his sons and daughters and his wife.

      2. WOW….lol, that’s no where in John 14, maybe you’re reading a Jehovah Witnesses Bible (NWT) I guess because what you said is foreign to scripture.

        Hebrews 1:8
        8 but to the Son:
        Your throne, God,
        is forever and ever,
and the scepter of Your kingdom
        is a scepter of justice.

Jesus is called God in Hebrews 1 and in John 1:1 the Word being Jesus is also called God. Unless you want to be blind, you will read the only Bible and I use that word lightly Bible in the world that says, the Word was a god. Now you have another problem by saying that because you are believing in two gods.

      3. Angels, Moses, Pharaoh, Zeus, Apollo, Baal and may others are also called god in the Bible. In your way of thinking such gods, like Jesus have to be than The God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Isaac, Jesus and his disciples.

      4. You can throw the passages away all you want to from trying to justify it with pagan gods and comparing it to the Bible, it shows me that you have no clue about Jesus or His Word.

      5. Comparing ot the Bible is just what people should do. The Bible is the infallible Word of God, in Whom we should trust and Whose Word we should value more than human people their words and those human doctrines you want to bring unto others.

      6. You are a false Christian who like the Jehovah Witnesses have rejected Jesus Christ. You preach lies and falsehood, just like in Galatians 1:9 which says, you preach a different gospel because you have believed a message from Satan like in the Book of 1 Timothy 4. John called Jesus God in the Book of John so its very clear who Jesus is.

      7. In Christ we should recognise his heavenly Father but that does not mean he is the God of gods. Jesus in the three years of preaching, of which Philip had been present a lot of time, should have recognised what Jesus did and how it came he did such things. You also seem to miss the part in the queote you geave yourself: “The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father (God) who dwells in Me does the works. ” Jesus having received the authority of God and not doing all those things by himself, but by God dwelling in him. When God dwells in us it also does not make us into God, like it did not by Christ.

      8. Unless you believe that Jesus is God you cannot be saved accord to Romans 10:9 which says, 9 If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:13 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

The Roman 10:13 passage was quoted from Joel 2:32 which says, Then everyone who calls
on the name of Yahweh will be saved

Lord in Romans which was quoted from Joel means Yahweh and when you go back to verse 8 it says that you must confess that Jesus is Lord and Lord means Yahweh. You have to confess that Jesus is God Yahweh to be saved.
