Jesus Described The Coming Of The Antichrist

The Antichrist, his image and the false prophet (Revelation 13; 16:13; 19:20)

Mark 13:14-20

14 “When you see the abomination that causes desolation standing where it should not” (let the reader understand), “then those in Judea must flee to the mountains! 15 A man on the housetop must not come down or go in to get anything out of his house. 16 And a man in the field must not go back to get his clothes. 17 Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days! 18 Pray it won’t happen in winter. 19 For those will be days of tribulation, the kind that hasn’t been from the beginning of the world, which God created, until now and never will be again! 20 Unless the Lord limited those days, no one would survive. But He limited those days because of the elect, whom He chose.

Here Jesus was describing the Antichrist, a time that’s unmatched by any other since the world began. Before the man of lawlessness can display himself in the world stage, there must be a third temple. I say that because he will put his image on the wing or corner of the temple and that cannot happen if there isn’t one (Revelation 13:14-15).

Right now as I write this, the Jewish people who belong to The Temple Institute and the Temple Mount and Eretz Yisrael Faithful Movement, are the ones who want the third temple built. They already have all the articles described in the Books of the Pentateuch (Torah) and the red heifer (Numbers 19:1-22). I believe that the Antichrist will be the one to give the Israelis the green light to construct the temple through the seven-year treaty which he will break after 3 1/2 years so that he can take control of it and proclaim to be God himself (2 Thessalonians 2:4). This is how close we are to the return of Jesus Christ.

As Christians, we can rejoice even in this because we know that the outcome of Satan, the Antichrist and the demonic forces, all of them will be thrown into the Lake of Fire that burns forever and ever (Revelation 20:10). All the Christians who truly were faithful to God’s Word and who have the Holy Spirit will be with Him in paradise always with joy that’s indescribable.
