11 Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and also of the living creatures and of the elders. Their number was countless thousands, plus thousands of thousands.
The angels are always attentive to God’s command as seen in Matthew 18:10 which says, “See that you don’t look down on one of these little ones, because I tell you that in heaven their angels continually view the face of My Father in heaven.”
The phrase “Their number was countless thousands, plus thousands of thousands.” refers to an ocean of angels that’s innumerable.
12 They said with a loud voice:
The Lamb who was slaughtered is worthy
to receive power and riches
and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and blessing!
All the hosts of heaven give glory and praises to Jesus Christ.
13 I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them say:
Blessing and honor and glory and dominion
to the One seated on the throne,
and to the Lamb, forever and ever!
Not only did the angels give glory to Christ as well as the Father but every creature created by God gave them glory because He alone created all things and redeemed men for Himself.
14 The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.
The elders worshiped the Living God, the Father, and the Son. Both are the One God who created the universe.
If you look at the Book of Deuteronomy you will find the Trinity in the most unlikely way that one would have missed.
Deuteronomy 6:4
4 “Listen, Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is One (Echad).
The Hebrew word for “One” is a unified One. In Hebrew, there are two different words to say one in English.
1. Echad which means, for example, there’s “one” team out in the field or as “one” men together. A group that is considered as one is the idea of the word “Echad”
2. Yachid which means a numeric “one”, a literal one, for an example: I have one pencil left or there’s only one person in the house.
Deuteronomy 6:4 uses the word Echad to say the Lord is One.
“The Lord is One” is a picture of what you see in Revelation and at the same time how the Son can be worshiped just like the Father. That’s because God who is One exists as three persons but at the same time, all three are Yahweh which means I Am who I Am, who never had a beginning and always existed.
