The Lord Spoke To Me In A Dream And Gave Me Its Interpretation About False Christians

christian-liars

I had a dream 2 days ago about being in the company of two strangers who were talking about Scripture. One guy was talking about the passage in John 10:34 which says, Jesus answered them, “Isn’t it written in your scripture, I said, you are gods? But the thing is that he was attributing it to Paul. He was confusing Paul for Jesus. In the dream, I corrected him and after parting ways I remember telling the person walking with me that people need to read the Scriptures. I prayed to the Lord to give me the meaning of the dream. While I was reading my Bible, it was revealed to me by the Lord. Below is what the Lord showed me:

Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge,
I will reject you from serving as My priest.
Since you have forgotten the law of your God,
I will also forget your sons.

If you read the whole chapter 4 of Hosea, it is referring to the priests that are supposed to know better in following what God’s Word says, are the ones misleading the people into idolatry (false doctrine). When we live our lives in contrast to the Bible and at the same time claiming to be Christians, we become liars and will mislead people away from the Truth. By rejecting the Word of God through our lifestyle God, in turn, will reject us. I’m not saying that a TRUE Christian will lose their salvation but that believer will not be used by the Lord and will be under disciplinary action.

Hosea 4:14
I will not punish your daughters
when they act promiscuously
or your daughters-in-law
when they commit adultery,
for the men themselves go off with prostitutes
and make sacrifices with cult prostitutes.
People without discernment are doomed.

The last part of verse 14, in bold, is what gave me the understanding of my dream. The guy in my dream had no discernment or perception of what the Scripture actually said and meant. False Christians are doomed and those who follow them will meet the same fate because they have rejected the true meaning of God’s Word in favor of their own interpretation rather than the Holy Spirit’s.

WordPress is a buffet of false Christians, misleading and being misled themselves.

False Christians: Insanitybytes, and Jefferey Poor to name a couple

A person with the Holy Spirit, the Scripture becomes very easy to understand due to the Spirit of God interpreting it to us.

Scripture knowledge in the community of believers are at different levels due to maturity. A baby Christian will say,  “I don’t know” with a passage he doesn’t understand but what he does understand, he will get it right.

In contrast with a false believer, he will say that he does understand but its interpretation is weird and odd at best which will contradict other passages in Scripture referring to the same topic.

Stay away from professing Christians who you know full well are contradicting what the Bible clearly says. They might do it in a subtle way but nonetheless, it is as bad. We cannot compromise the truth for the sake of being liked or followed.

  1. Great post, SpaniardVIII and like Caeli said, it takes courage to name names. I like when you said, “When we live our lives in contrast to the Bible and at the same time claiming to be Christians, we become liars and will mislead people away from the Truth.” This is exactly what Jesus was trying to teach us; we become like the Pharisees in regards to Scripture by misleading others while at the same time proclaiming to be Christians.

“False Christians are doomed and those who follow them will meet the same fate because they have rejected the true meaning of God’s Word in favor of their own interpretation rather than the Holy Spirit’s.”

I also like when you said, “We cannot compromise the truth for the sake of being liked or followed.” and I feel that a lot of Christians today will do this because of the perverse world that we live in.

    1. Excellent comment Joshua. A true Christian will get closer to Jesus by His Word, while a false believer will drift further by avoiding His Word and will come up with strange teachings as a result.
