What Is Truth?

What is truth?” said Pilate.

John 18:38a

Truth is the reality of what is not seen and the revelation of who God is and what will be. Truth has to do with eternity. Truth is in the sphere of what is not seen in the physical world but in the spiritual world and answers the questions “why are we here?” and “what happens when we die?” The Truth answers and reveal the unobservable.

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 14:6

The Truth is that there is a hell that’s eternal which was created for Satan and his fallen angels but after Adam sinned, it became our sentence. The Truth is that Jesus was punished for our iniquities and paid the ultimate price on the cross. He rose from the grave on the third day, sat down at the right hand of God the Father. Jesus is our hope and the only way to escape the horrors of hell.

The doors of heaven have been opened through His sacrifice, entering is achieved by placing our faith in Jesus Christ and asking Him to forgive all our sins.

Now you know the Truth…John 8:32You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Only Jesus can set you free…don’t wait, my friends.

  1. Since there are no coincidences, I’m sharing what seems like a confirmation video to your post. Forgive me for sharing this link here but I read your post almost immediately after I watched this video. You may have already seen it but doing so for benefit of others. Most of it is somewhat eye-opening but (for me) the profound starts somewhere around 12:30-12:45 (and then I think the video intentionally “goes to black” to further emphasize the speaker’s intent.)

  2. Amen and great post, SpaniardVIII. I like when you said, “The Truth is that there is a hell which was created for Satan and his fallen angels but after Adam sinned, it became our sentence. The Truth is that Jesus was punished for our iniquities and paid the ultimate price on the cross. He rose from the grave on the third day, sat down at the right hand of God the Father. ”

The Truth is is that it’s through Jesus Christ that we have our freedom because it was from Adam that sin and death entered the world, but it was through Jesus Christ that life and restoration became possible.

  3. I saw the video, it was interesting. I believe that God spoke to you and me. I’m interested to know what you got from God in seeing the video and reading the post. For me what I got was that what I wrote did not come from my understanding but from the Holy Spirit’s understanding. I have cards with my blog’s address and with this statement on the front “what is Truth” God helped me to define that term.
