Jesus Spoke To Me In A Dream Last Night With An Illustration

An illustration was shown to me last night when I had a dream. I believe that it was meant for someone.

In my dream

I was shown a forest full of pine trees. I also saw some on fire. Water was mentioned for its remedy.

The interpretation that was given to me

The pine trees represented people.

• Matthew 7:15-20, 15 “Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravaging wolves. 16 You’ll recognize them by their fruit. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 In the same way, every good tree produces good fruit, but a bad tree produces bad fruit. 18 A good tree can’t produce bad fruit; neither can a bad tree produce good fruit. 19 Every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 So you’ll recognize them by their fruit.

The fire consuming the trees represented hell.

• Luke 16:22-24, 22 One day the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 And being in torment in Hades, he looked up and saw Abraham a long way off, with Lazarus at his side. 24 ‘Father Abraham!’ he called out, ‘Have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this flame!’

The water represented salvation (faith in Jesus)

• John 4:10-14, 10 Jesus answered, “If you knew the gift of God, and who is saying to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would ask Him, and He would give you living water.”

  11 “Sir,” said the woman, “You don’t even have a bucket, and the well is deep. So where do You get this ‘living water’? 12 You aren’t greater than our father Jacob, are You? He gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did his sons and livestock.”

  13 Jesus said, “Everyone who drinks from this water will get thirsty again. 14 But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again—ever! In fact, the water I will give him will become a well of water springing up within him for eternal life.”

What I understood in my dream was that all of us will be consumed by the fire (hell) but if we accept the free gift that Jesus offers (the water), He will give us eternal life. Faith in Jesus simply means to accept that He took the punishment that we deserve upon Himself and on the third day He resurrected which proved who He claimed to be and what will be. Having a desire to change our lives for righteousness (accepting the conviction of the Holy Spirit) and to acknowledge that the only way it is possible is to ask Jesus to forgive us for sinning against Him and to change us.

Friend, if you are being convicted by God about the direction you are headed, accept it. Ask Jesus to change your direction and that you are willing to follow Him wherever He may lead you. Jesus wants the best for you, not in material gain but in spiritual gain. Those who work for the kingdom of heaven will receive from Jesus, treasure (Matthew 6:19-21), not because we deserve it but because we said yes to Jesus and allowed Him to use us. 

Remember, our life on this earth is only but a short one.

As A Christian, Are You Prepared To Answer Any Basic Questions From The Opposition Or From Those Who Are Sincere?

A couple of nights ago, I watched a video on YouTube of a Muslim who asked a Christian why he believes that the Bible is the Word of God. Sadly to say, his response was less than satisfactory. His answer to the Muslim was, “the same way you believe in the Qur’an.” I think that the hardest questions are the easiest because we never spend time in trying to understand the deeper meaning of it. This is why many Christians today have a hard time answering simple questions especially when the question is spontaneous, not expecting it. 

How about you Christian, why do you believe that the Bible is God’s Word?

I started to think about this question and what I said was, I believe it is God’s Word because…

1. The Bible declares that about itself
2. It proves it through fulfilled prophecies

After I said that, not to myself but to my wife who was next to me, I didn’t feel satisfied. In the morning when I woke up and went downstairs to pray, God answered my question that was in my heart. I say this because, in prayer, I didn’t ask Him, He just answered it seeing my heavy heart on the topic. When I was praying like so, “Father in heaven, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, thank You Lord for Your death and resurrection” When I said the word resurrection, God opened my understanding. I immediately understood that the Bible we as Christians hold on our hands is the Word of God (Not that I didn’t believe it but it gave me more understanding) because Jesus rose from the grave. Everything Jesus said about Himself, the Father, the Holy Spirit, heaven, angels, and hell is true because when He died, He didn’t stay dead like everyone else who has died but came back to life to show 500 plus witnesses that He was God and everything He said can be trusted. 

When the Lord told me the deep meaning of the resurrection that it substantiates His Word, I thought about 1 Corinthians 15:13-14 which says, 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised; 14 and if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is without foundation, and so is your faith.

I would like to challenge all of my brothers and sisters in Christ to study these questions and be prepared to answer them.

1. If God is so good why is there so much evil in the world?
2. I was born gay because God made me this way, why is it sinful?
3. Show me an evidence of God’s existence?
4. If God really exists, why don’t I hear from Him when I pray?
5. If God is in control of everything then all these troubles that have come my way were from God so God is not really all good.
6. Why did God command Joshua to kill men, women, and children?

These are some of the questions that roam around WordPress from Atheists, New Agers, Agnostics and the ones who are truly sincere in finding out the answers. You must study, study, and more study so you won’t be caught off guard and at the same time give a Godly Biblical answer to their questions. Allow the Holy Spirit to use you in a mighty way. But, you must first give God time by being in His Word and desire to be taught by Him or else how can you answer their questions. 

 

(Part 6) The True Darkness Of Atheism

Atheism, the walking dead, like a tree planted far away from water

The heart of an Atheist is void of any sacrificial love and the love that seems to surface from them is a self-centered one. They are driven by emotions regardless if there is any truth connected to that emotion. They are blind to the core even though the evidence of God’s existence rides with them wherever they go.

The Bible explains why the Atheists cannot see God’s footprints (evidence) in front of them.

• 2 Corinthians 4:4–In their case, the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

1. the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers is in reference to Satan who’s on the prowl to gouge out the spiritual eyes of those who are not Christians so they won’t see the evidence of God’s existence. 
2.  so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ because Satan’s first attack on an Athiest is to make them reject the Bible as God’s Word, thus blinding occurs. Without believing that the Scriptures is God’s revelation about Himself to men and what their future holds if they accept or reject Jesus Christ, they have no light to see or understand it. 

• Matthew 6:22-24-22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. So if the light within you is darkness—how deep is that darkness! 24 “No one can be a slave of two masters, since either he will hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot be slaves of God and of money.

1. “The eye is the lamp of the body being an entryway to the heart. If one’s eyes have light then they can distinguish between what is false and what is right. 
2. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. The heart is full of darkness because the person has no ability to recognize the light from the darkness, the truth from the lie. How can they if Satan has plucked their spiritual eyes out by convincing them that the lie is the truth and the truth is the lie?
3. You cannot be slaves of God and of money. One of the ways that Satan blinds them is through worldly desires. A person who is full of greed worships money meaning that they give preeminence to their wealth and it becomes what they live for. 

In the Book of Proverbs chapter 6, God reveals 7 things that He detests. These 7 characteristics are held by ALL Atheists. 

Proverbs 6:16-19

• 16 The Lord hates six things;
  in fact, seven are detestable to Him:

God reveals 7 things that He does not want you to have and to be careful in falling into them.

• 17 arrogant eyes,

Since an Atheist is devoid of God in their heart, humility has no place within them. They put themselves above God’s moral standards by looking down on Him as if they are more righteous than God.

• a lying tongue,

Since the Atheists do not believe in sin, they have no problem to lie to their friends and family just to get ahead. They don’t have any remorse for lying to people. The Atheist will tell you that he/she knows for certain that God does not exist even though the evidence is overwhelming. They claim this and that about God without ever reading the Bible. When they do read the Bible, it is to find a verse that they can twist to fit their twisted and perverse mind. 

• hands that shed innocent blood,

Go see Communism in the past, and now, you will see that they have and still claim to be Atheists who have killed without discrimination anyone who went against them. On the other hand, God’s Word declares that if you hate anyone, God will judge you as a murderer. Atheists, whether they admit it or not, hate not only Christians but Jesus Christ making them fit the category. 

• 18 a heart that plots wicked schemes,

Almost all Atheists on the internet scheme against God who they claim does not exist. They put so much energy into fighting against someone that they swear is not real. Folks, what’s weird about that? They scheme against the Living God because their conscience testifies to them that Jesus Christ is real and they will be judged for their sins.

• feet eager to run to evil,

By not believing in sin, they eagerly run to obtain their wealth by any means necessary, if they can get away with it. They will step on anyone to achieve their goals in life.

• 19 a lying witness who gives false testimony,

You can easily bribe an Atheist to lie for you. According to Atheists, there is no God and no judgment, so why would they care if they could get away with it?

• and one who stirs up trouble among brothers.

You want to see how Godless people stir up trouble? Just turn on the news and you will see how angry, hateful, lying and evil are the left-wing liberals. 

In the end, the Atheist cares less for any evidence pointing to God because they know full well that God is against their sinful lifestyle and that is why these people choose to deny God.
