Trusting in the Lord amidst Your Troubles

What does it take to follow Jesus? Answer TRUST

Proverbs 3:5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding;

When we find ourselves in a place of despair with many problems, we sometimes forget that there is a loving God who is waiting for us to call on Him for help and to put our trust in Him regardless how big our problems might seem.

Faith requires action as the word trust reflects. Many people say that they believe in the Lord, but without trust, there is no true faith. God will respond only to real faith.

Tribulation is actually a good thing for believers in Jesus Christ because, without it, we can’t grow our faith and trust in the Lord. Tribulation forces your faith to go into action.

Jesus knows all things and is working out everything for our good [Romans 8:28] and for His glory, so stop trying to understand it and let us exercise the faith He has given us. The Word of God is like a lamp that lights up our path and shows us the direction to take in any given situation and it also builds up our faith in Him.

When we trust in the Lord it doesn’t matter what type of danger lurks near you. Even though everything around you is falling apart, trusting God keeps you together with an inner peace that’s beyond understanding. To build your trust in the Lord is to seek Him through prayer and His Word every single day.

  1. No way, that’s awesome. It’s always satisfying when someone gets blessed by one of your posts. My main goal for my blog is to encourage people without God to rethink that position and seek the Lord. And for believers, to encourage them to continue to hold on to Christ.
