Is The Bible’s Origin Divine Or From Men?

moses-and-the-10-commandments

The origin of Scripture comes from

G O D

Exodus 24:4

And Moses wrote down all the words of the LORD. He rose early the next morning and set up an altar and twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel at the base of the mountain.

Exodus 31:18

When he finished speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the testimony, stone tablets inscribed by the finger of God.

Exodus 34:27

The LORD also said to Moses, “Write down these words, for I have made a covenant with you and with Israel based on these words.”

Moses wrote down the very words of God while in His presence.

Why would God write down the ten commandments on stone tablets? It was a picture of the Son of God.

Matthew 21:42

Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is what the Lord has done and it is wonderful in our eyes?

Acts 4:10-11

10 let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified and whom God raised from the dead—by him this man is standing here before you healthy. 11 This Jesus is

the stone rejected by you builders,
which has become the cornerstone.

Revelation 19:13

13 He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his name is called the Word of God.

Jesus is called the Word of God and is referred to as The Stone [the cornerstone which the believers are built upon]

When Moses came down the mountain with the stone tablets [the ten commandments] in his hands, it was showing that God was going to send down to earth Jesus Christ the Living Word in the flesh to reveal the Living God to all humanity.

The only one who attacks the Word of God is the devil. If you find yourself attacking the Bible, now you know where that push for you to do so is coming from.

    1. First of all, what’s important is the material [the Bible] itself which speaks about Moses being true. If the Bible is proven to be true then automatically, the characters mention including Moses is true.

We have archaeology find, history, prophecy and the dead sea scroll to prove that not only the Scriptures is historically accurate but also inspired.

I can now turn around and ask you to give me the evidence which would disprove the Bible and its claims as found written in its pages?

So.. no. You cannot demonstrate that outside of the Bible there is any evidence of Moses existence. And the bible is not historically or inspired.

      2. Lol, you atheist really don’t like the truth. It doesn’t matter if Jesus would walk inside your house, you would look Him in the eyes and say He is not real. The Bible is an historical document. You believe in other historical documents but of course not the Bible. Israel did not exist for 2000 years and their language, just how the Bible predicted, they became a Nation again. You will not find any other civilization that it has happen to. You have all the evidence you need, but you have made up your mind.

It’s easier to believe the bible when you’ve decided a priori that the bible is true. I once did as well. But then I learned better than I had and from people and books that know better too. Have a wonderful day.

      4. Wow, so sad. Ask yourself this question. What motivates me to attack the Bible and those who choose to believe in Jesus Christ? Your answer would be, demonic influence.

  1. The “Bible,” as with all books, was written by, you guessed it. “men” – othes by women, by those were much more sexist times. There is no such thing as having a “divine” origin, so all that you write here is nonsense.
    Thanks for asking.

    1. The Bible is divine and it is a revelation to humanity who God is and He wants a relationship with you. Jesus died in your place so you don’t have to go to hell, but have eternal life in Him. Why do so many people hate Jesus? Because He is real and that motivation of hatred towards Jesus comes from the devil through people like Atheists.

      1. There is no “relationship” possible with a fictitious entity left over from the Stone Age.
I am sorry that your mind has become so occluded by this cultural myth. Have a happy atheist day!

      2. You know that, do you? Are you some sort of deity, perchance, yourself, to know someone so well, yet you’ve never met them?
On the other hand, I guess you must be right, since “fun” and ” a good time” must be what you mean by “sin,” and yes, I’ve enjoyed the hell out of them.
And I, and many, many other humans will continue to do so, and you are, of course, invited to give up your lunatic ramblings and join the parade.

Somehow, though, I think you’ll continue this “damnation” crusade – it’s going to go nowhere, and what will you have left but your rotten anti-human hate?

      3. Your sins are killing you and sending you to hell. Just look at what sin is. Lusting after someone’s wife that is not yours. Stealing, in all kinds of ways. Thinking evil thoughts about other people. Hating people, wishing bad things towards them. Blaspheming the name of God. Envy, saying bad words, self-centered, merciless, prideful, and etc. God is a God of love, self-sacrifice, Creator, will forgive all of your sins if you put your trust in Jesus. Friend, it is not too late, you still have a chance to have your sins forgiven, don’t let the opportunity pass by.

  2. You muddle up ‘the Word of God’, which the Bible applies to Jesus, with the term it uses of itself: ‘scripture’ (which simply means ‘writing’). Even the Bible doesn’t use the term ‘the Word of God’ of itself. Check out the quotes you use in this post and you’ll see. Wouldn’t you say that using a title of Jesus for the Bible is a form of idolatry?
Most of your posts, in fact, are a muddle. There are many, many analyses that ‘disprove’ the Bible and its claims. They’re not of the devil, which is a feeble and ill-informed excuse to avoid facing facts. Instead of challenging your commenters to supply the evidence of the Bible’s fallibility, why don’t you do some honest research for yourself?

    1. In the Bible you will find the phrase “the word of God” in 1 Thess. 2:13 which says, “This is why we constantly thank God, because when you received the word of God that you heard from us, you welcomed it not as a human message, but as it truly is, the word of God, which also works effectively in you who believe.”

Christians don’t worship the Bible, we worship the person who the Bible reveals, Jesus Christ. For you to suggest that we make the Bible like an idol shows me how much you don’t know anything about Scripture and makes you sound really bad.

Neil, Jesus still loves you and as long as you are breathing you have a chance. The Bible says that once a person dies, he is judged and it will be too late for you. Repent and believe the good news.
