7 and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire
“and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us” As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we will suffer, one in this way and the other in that because those who live for Christ will be attacked by the devil with temptations, afflictions, diseases, in special cases, and discouragement.
However, our tribulations that come from the god [Satan, 2 Corinthians 4:4] of this world will cease in the 2nd coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Especially those who will suffer by the hands of the antichrist during the Great Tribulation.
All of our troubles will end when Jesus comes to take us to be with Him so that we may find eternal rest.
