1 Thessalonians 5:18
“Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
While we feast today with our families, remember, this day was possible because of God’s goodness to you. Go into a closed room and praise the Lord Jesus Christ for giving you this wonderful day to spend with your family. Also, thank Him for enduring the cross for us.
May all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones, in Jesus’ name.
Jesus prayed to the Father for the believers that their faith may not fail when confronted by the evil one [demons].
7 For the hidden power of lawlessness is already at work. However, the one who holds him back will do so until he is taken out of the way
The spirit of lawlessness [Satan’s influence] is working in the world [gaining momentum] to sway the people away from God’s Word to an anti-God mentality as we are witnessing today in schools, governments, and homes.
“the one who holds him back” The only one who is capable to hold back pure evil [the antichrist] is the Spirit of God. Once He moves out of the way, it will allow for Satan through the antichrist to start his rule on earth [the beginning of the Great Tribulation].
