“and with all deception of wickedness” Deception is an evil act with the sole purpose of harming the person, either physically or spiritually.

“for those who are being lost” Deception penetrates completely and deceives the individual who is devoid of the Holy Spirit.

“because they didn’t receive the love of the truth” The Truth which is found in the Word of God keeps all its adherence from being deceived.
