2 Thessalonians 3:8- Don’t Become A Burden To Other Believers

2 Thess

8 nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you.

“nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it” Paul and his companions didn’t want to become a burden to the church in Thessalonica, so he worked hard to provide for himself and for those with him. Paul loved the Thessalonians and did what he could to lighten their burden, not to add to it.

“we worked night and day, laboring and toiling” Paul was a tentmaker by trade (Acts 18:3).
