Can One Be Anti-Zionist And Still Be A Christian?

An Anti-Zionist Christian needs to reassess their stance with the Jewish Messiah, who is a Jew and at His second coming will reign in Jerusalem [Jewish State] as King of kings and Lord of lords.

As Christians, are we supposed to be supporters of the Jewish State or be anti-Zionist?

2 See how Your enemies rage, how Your foes have reared their heads. 3 With cunning they scheme against Your people and conspire against those You cherish, 4 saying, “Come, let us erase them as a nation; may the name of Israel be remembered no more.” 5 For with one mind they plot together, they form an alliance against You

-Psalm 83:2-5, BSB

Let’s put the words in bold together.

Enemies rage, Your foes scheme against Your people and conspire against those You cherish, the name of Israel be remembered no more. They form an alliance against You [the LORD].

By hating Israel, the person in turn hates God who came from the Jews in the person of Jesus Christ to save the world from their sins.

21 “Believe Me, woman,” Jesus replied, “a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.

-John 4:21-22, BSB

I ask then, did God reject His people? Certainly not! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.

-Romans 11:1, BSB

Paul asks a rhetorical question if God has rejected the Jewish people for rejecting Jesus their Messiah? The answer he gives is no because there is “a remnant chosen by grace.” [Romans 11:5 (b)].

35 Thus says the LORD, who gives the sun for light by day, who sets in order the moon and stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—the LORD of Hosts is His name: 36 “Only if this fixed order departed from My presence, declares the LORD, would Israel’s descendants ever cease to be a nation before Me.”

-Jeremiah 31:35-36, BSB

The LORD will never do away with the Jewish people. I want to be crystal clear, salvation is only through faith in Jesus Christ, to the Jews first and also to the gentiles. A Jew or a non-Jew needs to put their trust in Jesus to go to heaven. Without Jesus Christ, no human being can get saved.

The Scripture declares that Jesus will not return until the JEWISH people are ready to receive Jesus at His second coming. For the Jewish people to do that, there has to be a Jewish State.

34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her, how often I have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were unwilling! 35 Look, your house is left to you desolate. And I tell you that you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’

-Luke 13:34-35, BSB

The context in Luke 13, makes it very clear that God will establish the Jewish nation before His second coming to rule the world from Israel to fulfill what Zechariah 14 says…

3 Then the LORD will go out to fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle. 4 On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half the mountain moving to the north and half to the south.

16 Then all the survivors from the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 And should any of the families of the earth not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, then the rain will not fall on them.

-Zechariah 14:3-5, 16-17, BSB

In Zechariah 14, shows Jesus’ second coming and reigning from Jerusalem. All the nations of the world will come and pay Jesus Christ respect for who He is, Lord and King of the universe.

Friends, I will caution you to stay away from professing Christians who are against the Jewish State because that does not come from the Holy Spirit, but is satanic and evil from the father of lies.

I will name a couple of people who teach replacement theology, which I have come across and will quote them.

John Piper “Not only that, but God promised to Israel the presently disputed land from the time of Abraham onward. God said, “This is the land of which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, ‘I will give it to your offspring’” (Deuteronomy 34:4). Statements to that effect are repeated many times. But neither of those two facts — Israel’s election and God’s covenant promise of the land — means that Israel has a present-day divine right to the land.” []

John Piper rejects the very Scripture that he quotes, how blind do you have to be to use the Scripture that literally says the opposite on what you believe in.

The other questionable Christian is Lee Poskey from WordPress who is deceiving many naive Christians who goes to his site and supports his false doctrines. The post that I will mention here is

Lee Poskey quotes Genesis 12:2-3, but I will add for context verse 1 as well.

“1 Then the LORD said to Abram, “Leave your country, your kindred, and your father’s household, and go to the land I will show you. 2 I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you; and all the families of the earth will be blessed through you.” -Genesis 12:1-3, BSB

Lee Poskey said, “If you’ve been influenced by dispensationalism or Zionism, you probably think that the current country/state of “Israel” is what that scripture is speaking about…but that’s dead wrong.

Ironically, the analysis of that particular scripture is so straightforward, that it almost seems impossible that so many people could be duped by propagandists. (Especially KJV bible believers).”

My fellow believers in Jesus Christ these two people are twisting the Word of God to substantiate their disdain towards the Jewish nation. Plus, it shows that they are going against the Jewish Messiah and reject what the Bible says about Jesus ruling in Jerusalem, which will fulfill future prophecy regarding the reign of Jesus for 1000 years. Only Satan would not like that prophecy as he will be locked up for that time in the bottomless pit. Now you know where it is coming from and why the world hates the Jewish nation.
