Are You A Christian Who Celebrates Halloween?

Do not participate in the useless deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them

-Ephesians 5:11, NASB 2020

The holiday for the devil is Halloween. Everyone dresses up and puts on a mask of monsters and demons to ask for candies. It is a treat that’s sweet to the palate but useless for the body. Halloween is a night when the spiritual forces of darkness activity are at its highest. Many witches who practice the dark arts are performing demonic rituals all over the world. They are calling upon demons to perform various tasks for their self-centered fleshly desires.

I do believe that in the occult world, many child sacrifices are taking place for Satan. When you participate in Halloween, you are celebrating the day with the devil. How do you think God feels about that? You will grieve the Holy Spirit by opening up the door to demonic activity in your life. Not only that, but you are straying from the One who can protect you from the enemy by doing things you ought not to do.

If you are a Christian and you celebrate Halloween, you desperately need to grow in the faith because the times we are living in now will get worse. You will be spiritually weak and easily manipulated by the enemy, and you will be deceived for a time and go through many troubles. You can avoid that by getting into God’s Word and walking in the light of righteousness and staying away from the useless deeds [Halloween] of darkness. The choice is yours. Make the right one.

  1. Thank you for your comment, Ward. Not many Christians, sadly to say, understand the seriousness that goes on in Halloween. The Christians who participate in Halloween should ask themselves, “Why must I celebrate a day that’s for the dark side.”

  2. God and necessary post. I’m mentoring a new believer whose mother practices witchcraft. Today this sister sent me these texts:
“My first year not celebrating Halloween”
“The Holy Spirit took the desire out of my heart and helped me to understand the evil behind it.”
My heart rejoices! I pray that professing Christians are shaken out of complacency and compromise!

  3. What a testimony, Lisa. What a compliment to the post. We know that the Holy Spirit will convict a believer to stop celebrating a holiday that is dedicated to the devil. Thank you for sharing her text. I know someone will read it and it will speak to them.
