The King’s Policy was to institute an ungodly statue for all people to worship. Godly leaders stood up against such an evil policy for the benefit of God’s people. Good rising against evil was possible due to having them in the King’s court.
3 Then the king told Ashpenaz, the chief of his officials, to bring in some of the sons of Israel, including some of the royal family and of the nobles, 4 youths in whom there was no impairment, who were good-looking, suitable for instruction in every kind of expertise, endowed with understanding and discerning knowledge, and who had ability to serve in the king’s court; and he ordered Ashpenaz to teach them the literature and language of the Chaldeans….6 Now among them from the sons of Judah were Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah.

Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah were politicians in their day
By the LORD God’s sovereignty, He appointed Daniel and his three friends to be in the king’s court, which is another way to say that God wanted them to be into politics for the benefit of God’s people.
19 And the king talked with them, and out of them all not one was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; so they entered the king’s personal service.

How important was it to have people who would lean towards God’s Word? It was vital. Daniels’s three friends fought back against the evil [the worship of a false god] that would permeate in the country they were serving as politicians.
1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made a statue of gold, the height of which was sixty cubits, and its width six cubits; he set it up on the plain of Dura in the province of Babylon….6 But whoever does not fall down and worship shall immediately be thrown into the middle of a furnace of blazing fire.

The Jewish people who were living in that country were in great danger as they could not worship any other god but the true God because God’s Word prohibited His people from doing that. Worshiping an idol was worshiping a demon. God doesn’t want His followers to fall into the devil’s trap.
They sacrificed to demons, who were not God, To gods whom they have not known, New gods who came lately, Whom your fathers did not know.

Daniel’s three friends, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, stood up and refused to bow down to any other god [unbiblical policies] but the true Living God. The king was so furious with them that he heated the furnace seven times hotter to throw them in. In the end, God delivered them and changed the king’s heart by honoring the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Now, the Jewish people were safe to worship Yahweh without putting their life at risk.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we must vote for the party that is conservative because their policies are more Biblical based. If you want evil in the United States, then vote Democrat. What you will get will be more of the unborn murdered, and that which God detests shall be in the public schools, TV, and other outlets, the practice of homosexuality. Kids will grow up to learn to be evil and harden their conscience towards the truth found in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Don’t let godless politicians guide our country into depravity. Vote.
Spiritual Minefield
