Kiss the Son, that He not be angry and you perish on the way, For His wrath may be kindled quickly. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!

The word “Kiss” refers to worship. Here, the passage reveals that God has a Son who is to be worshiped. How do we know that the word “Kiss” means worship? Look at the verse below.
Yet I will leave seven thousand in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal and every mouth that has not kissed him.

Kissing an idol or a king shows that you have given them your allegiance or paying them homage.
“that He not be angry and you perish”
Those who do not believe in the Son of God shall find themselves in opposition to Him and shall be in danger of perishing. The word “perishing” suggests that those who go against the Son will be condemned when God judges them.
“How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!”
Everyone who takes “refuge in Him,” which points back to the word “Kiss,” will be jubilant. The Son’s wrath will come to the disobedient, but those who commit themselves [by giving allegiance] to the Son will avoid God’s wrath.
Psalm 2:12 shows that the Messiah is the Son of God and has authority over men, punishing the wicked, those who reject the plan of God. He has planned a way for us to escape His wrath by sending His Son to rescue us from our sins. Since God doesn’t share His glory with anyone, it makes it clear that the Son is God, as revealed in John 1:1-2, 14, which says, “1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God…14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
The Jewish Messiah is Jesus Christ, who came to deal with sin first. Whoever puts their trust in Him shall not be rejected and humiliated but will have eternal life.
