Look Up For Our Redemption Is Near

25 Whom do I have in heaven but You? And with You, I desire nothing on earth. 26 My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Psalm 73:25-26 NASB

In reality, who is the one that will always be with us when we go through dark times? The LORD.

Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us. A Spirit-filled believer will desire Christ more than this world. We look forward to His return, but meanwhile, we must keep busy doing His work in spreading the good news that one can have their sins forgiven if they put their trust in Jesus Christ.

There will be times when we will want to give up the good fight of the faith, that is when the Holy Spirit energizes us to press forward. Our flesh is weak but God’s strength resides within us and will keep every believer moving toward accomplishing the purpose that God created us for.

God’s Word keeps us hoping in a dark world. The world is getting darker and more scarier, that is when the light in the believer will shine the brightest. All of our tribulations and struggles will one day come to an end, when Jesus rescues us from this sinful and corrupt world. Let us continue to look up, expecting His return soon. Everything Jesus said in Matthew 24 tells us that we are in the last hour.
