The Lamb’s Book Of Life

All who live on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written since the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slaughtered. -Revelation 13:8

Our names are not written down in the Lamb’s Book of Life because we have put our faith in Jesus Christ. But rather, we come to the point of salvation because our names have been found already written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. God already knew before He created the world who would believe in His Son. Everyone who will come to saving faith reveals their destiny that they had before they were born. It is all based on God’s foreknowledge (1 Peter 1:1-2) that He had before the account of Genesis 1.

4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will -Ephesians 1:4-5

For those whose names are not written in the Book of Life, will never accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. Before they existed, the Lord knew that they would never believe, so He never put their names in His Book. God alone knows what’s in people’s hearts and the decision that they will make concerning Himself.

Rejoice if your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Knowing full well that when you close your eyes at death, you will immediately find yourself in the presence of the Lord.
