But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “Only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, does this man drive out demons.”
Matthew 12:24
The reason why the Pharisees said that Jesus was using a demonic prince to cast out a demon was that they had rejected the evidence of God working through Him. The word “prince” implies one with a high position and who exhibits great power.
The word “Beelzebul” means the lord of the flies. It was a name that was attributed to Satan.
Flies are attracted to human waste which human excrement points to something worthless like idols. The word “Idol” in Hebrew is gillul which has the meaning of dungy things. Strong’s# 1544
God considers all idols to be the equivalent of human waste. When you see any religion bowing down to a statue, for the Lord, it is like worshiping dung (worthlessness), making your worship detestable to the Lord.
12 You must have a place outside the camp to go and relieve yourself. 13 And you must have a digging tool in your equipment so that when you relieve yourself you can dig a hole and cover up your excrement. 14 For the LORD your God walks throughout your camp to protect you and deliver your enemies to you. Your camp must be holy, lest He see anything unclean among you and turn away from you. -Deuteronomy 23:12-14
Human excrement gives the meaning of a thing that is useless. Just like when a person eats food, the body starts to digest it, keeping only what is useful and discards what is not needed.
According to the verses in Deuteronomy, human excrement is something that God considers unholy, and flies are naturally attracted to it. So, it infers that when you are in sin, as a believer in Christ, you will attract demons, giving them access to your life.
Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. -1 Peter 5:8
Be careful with what you do with your life because Just like the odor of dung calls the flies to it so does your sins to Satan. Repent immediately and get right with the Lord or you are asking for demonic oppression.
