Halloween: A Day Of Darkness

The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

Through faith in Jesus Christ and the work of the cross, He has transferred us from darkness to the light. The fruit that comes about by the works of darkness brings forth death. For the armor that a Christian is given—that is, the Full Armor of God—is light, so let us walk in the light of the Lord and have nothing to do with the deeds of darkness. Let’s not promote and even celebrate a day that exalts the enemy but put it in the light so all can see what it truly is.

Anger: A Destructive Force

Refrain from anger and abandon wrath; do not fret—it can only bring harm.

Why does the Lord want us to refrain from anger (unrighteous anger)?

for man’s anger does not bring about the righteousness that God desires.

James 1:20 BSB

Anger doesn’t glorify the Lord as it feeds the flesh. “Do not fret” means not to allow yourself to fall into a rage. Rage blinds the mind, making the person get out of control. Not only can you harm yourself but others as well. Look at what happened with Cain and Abel. Cain’s anger took his brother’s life away because of jealousy see below.

4 while Abel brought the best portions of the firstborn of his flock. And the LORD looked with favor on Abel and his offering, 5 but He had no regard for Cain and his offering. So Cain became very angry, and his countenance fell…8 Then Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let us go out to the field.” And while they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him.

Emotions like anger can cause a catastrophic event in your life. Before that happens, get on your knees and cry out to the Lord for peace of mind (Philippians 4:6-7). The God whom I serve—the Lord Jesus Christ—will give you His peace and calmness of heart so that your soul—resting in His hands may find the love of God.

Is God More Important Than Your Well Being?

4 “Skin for skin!” Satan replied. “A man will give up all he owns in exchange for his life. 5 But stretch out Your hand and strike his flesh and bones, and he will surely curse You to Your face.”

One of the ways that Satan gets people to deny Jesus Christ is by attacking their health. He will make them believe that their health is in danger, to make them take a jab, which in reality, will make them sick or will even bring their death. His scare tactic works so well that he has gotten almost the world to take a deadly “poke” that introduces parasites into the human body. Not only that, but without it, you can’t buy or sell.

This V product closely resembles—the mark of the beast, which puts those who received the jab out of fear, at a higher risk—if they go through the Great Tribulation—to receive the mark of the beast on their right hand or forehead.

I say this because if you got the jab so you won’t lose your job, how much more, you will get the mark of the beast, not only because it will take your job away, but also your life. Many Christians at that time will get their heads cut off for refusing the mark of the Antichrist. They will go hungry, be homeless, lose all their friends and even their families. What’s more important to you? Jesus or your job? Your call.
