Verse By Verse Through Galatians (1:15)

15 But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by His grace, was pleased -Galatians 1:15 BSB

Paul, who used to be a religious leader (Pharisee) and was knowledgeable in the Scriptures, understood that every person who ended up giving their lives to Jesus Christ was already chosen and called before conception, as they were in the mind of God. For the Lord knows the hearts and decisions of every man before they are made.

Listen to Me, O islands; pay attention, O distant peoples: The LORD called Me from the womb; from the body of My mother He named Me. -Isaiah 49:1 BSB

16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all my days were written in Your book and ordained for me before one of them came to be. -Psalm 139:16 BSB
