As much as I want to be done addressing questions being asked under false pretenses, I find the necessity of making Part 3 and to reveal Satan’s schemes and tactics so that the believer may see how the enemy works through these people.
Below you will see a quote from a person named John Arthur who claims to be an agnostic who keeps on bombarding me with questions, not for the reason of understanding God’s Word or finding out why we Christians believe what we believe but is trying to trap me and convince me that the God of the Bible is false. I say that because he goes to an atheist’s site to parade his so-called victory to convince the atheist community that the Christian community doesn’t have any answers. Satan uses these people even on themselves to continue to keep them blind to the truth and discourage them from seeking God through a believer for the truth.
John Arthur the agnostic says
You keep deleting my comments over on your blog or refuse to answer many of my questions. You charge me with pride because I ask questions you seem unable to answer, but you dogmatically assert that Christians are Fundamentalists as it is these are the only Christians.
I told you that on rational and empirical grounds that I am an agnostic, but that I choose to believe in a God of compassion, healing-mercy and loving-kindness, but of course, this is not consistent with Fundamentalism. I told you that if God is a Fundamentalist, then I think that a compassionate atheist humanism is much to be preferred, which I doubt that you will publish.
You can keep your views about Fundamentalism, but all you are doing is a good job for your Lord, “Satan”. Repugnant views of God are not likely to attract many people. Even if God probably doesn’t exist, at least compassionate views of God and treating others with compassion is preferable to the oppression of Fundamentalism. The PROBLEM is the BIBLE.
Satan’s emissaries will come to you in a subtle way, depending in the level of maturity you have in Christ, as a person who pretends to believe in the God of the Bible but is scheming for the purpose to find a weakness in your faith, a breach in your wall so to speak, so he can subvert and destroy you.
Even though John A. claims to believe in a God of compassion and mercy, he has a problem with connecting God and fundamentalist. First let’s define the word fundamentalist to see why he has this problem.
Christian fundamentalism began in the late 19th and early 20th centuries among British and American Protestants as a reaction to theological liberalism and cultural modernism. Fundamentalists argued that 19th-century modernist theologians had misinterpreted or rejected certain doctrines, especially biblical inerrancy, that they viewed as the fundamentals of the Christian faith. Fundamentalists are almost always described as having a literal interpretation of the Bible.
In keeping with traditional Christian doctrines concerning biblical interpretation, the role Jesus Christ plays in the Bible, and the role of the church in society, fundamentalists usually believe in a core of Christian beliefs that include the historical accuracy of the Bible and all its events as well as the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.-Wikipedia
Often capitalized : a movement in 20th century Protestantism emphasizing the literally interpreted Bible as fundamental to Christian life and teaching–Merriam Webster
Fundamentalists are those who believe in the core doctrine of scripture pertaining to the person of Jesus and the inerrancy of scripture which without these two a person cannot get saved because they will believe in a different Jesus and end up rejecting God’s Word. If one does not believe that the Bible is inerrant, then they won’t live by it.
John Arthur rejects putting God and fundamentalist together because that will give you the God of the Bible while he is trying to introduce the god of this world which is Satan. Satan is using John to blind the minds of people so they won’t believe in the right God who manifested Himself in the person of Jesus Christ to prevent them from getting saved as seen in 2 Corinthians 4:4 which says, “The god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”
John Arthur says, “You can keep your views about Fundamentalism, but all you are doing is a good job for your Lord, “Satan”. Repugnant views of God
John says, that if you believe in the Jesus that’s revealed in the Word of God and that it’s inerrant (that’s a fundamentalists belief) then you’re believing in Satan. Look how twisted this man’s mind truly is. To have that type of mentality comes from Satan himself, who hates the true Living God of scripture. Satan wants to give you another Jesus that’s foreign to scripture, why? Because that Jesus can’t save you and even the Bible warns us of believing in a different Jesus as seen in Galatians 1:6-9 which says, “6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different gospel, 7 which is not a gospel. But there are some who trouble you and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 Although if we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel to you than the one we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so I say now again: If anyone preaches any other gospel to you than the one you have received, let him be accursed.”
At the end of his quote what does John Arthur reveals in his heart? He reveals this, “The PROBLEM is the BIBLE.”
Atheism and agnosticism have this in common since they serve the same god of this world, hatred for the Word of God.
