The rapture is the event when Jesus will take the Christians to heaven to be with Him. It will not happen “until the rebellion” or apostasy, and right after that, the antichrist appears on the world stage. However, it does not say that the antichrist will sign the seven-year treaty with Israel yet. It just says that he will come out. The rapture will occur before the Great Tribulation.
The homosexual agenda belongs to Satan, and he has brought it to the churches to make the hearts of those who are not anchored in Christ turn away from Him. The devil will take many professing Christians to hell by convincing them that sexual immorality is not sinful, thus deceiving them to accept that which the Word of God has condemned.
Right before Jesus comes, there will be fewer Christians on earth (Luke 18:8) who will be the ones to get raptured. Satan wants many people to go to hell with him, and the sad part about it is that he will be successful.
Imagine you go to the kitchen, and you see a basket full of apples. You think that you have many apples, but as you look more into the basket, you notice that the ones at the bottom are all rotten. The apples at the top are good, but the ones at the bottom are bad. Only a few apples are good to eat. That is what’s happening to Christianity. Many people claim to be Christians, but as 2 Thessalonians 2 says, many will apostatize, showing that only a few are genuinely saved.
If you call yourself a Christian, you better understand that the devil has targeted you to destroy your faith by having you accept another “truth” that opposes what the Scripture teaches.
How grounded are you in Christ? You better start digging yourself, real firm and deep in the Word of God because the enemy will try his hardest you pull you out of it.
If the rapture takes place right after the seven years of the Great Tribulation, then we would know the return of Jesus Christ. And we understand that the Scripture says no one can know. Why would a believer stay alert if we knew when He was coming? But, the passages make it clear that since we don’t know, all believers must be in constant readiness for the rapture. That means that Christians have to be busy doing His will and living a life of righteousness and not in sin.
But be alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place and to stand before the Son of Man. -Luke 21:36
The word “alert” here suggests that the followers of Jesus Christ must be in a state of holiness, walking in the Holy Spirit—obeying the Word of God in a daily fashion. When Jesus returns, He wants to see us on our knees seeking His face. And the way we seek the Lord is by putting our faith in action (Luke 18:1-8).
The phrase “praying that you may have strength to escape all these things” means to be spiritually ready to meet the Lord in the air The word “escape” means two things. The first one is to make sure that you have eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ (Hebrews 2:1-3). The second meaning of the word is to be prepared so that you would avoid the wrath of God (1 Thessalonians 5:3), which God will pour out in the second half of the Great Tribulation (Revelation 6).
Friend, do you intimately know Jesus? Does Jesus dwell in your heart? If not, don’t wait any longer because He can come at any moment, and you will be left behind.
16 And he requires everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark: the beast’s name or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom: The one who has understanding must calculate the number of the beast, because it is the number of a man. His number is 666. -Revelation 13:16-18
The mark of the beast is connected to a currency that will be new for the world. For that to happen, there must be a worldwide economic collapse. Satan always used money to get people to worship him. He tried that with Jesus in the Book of Matthew 4:8-9 where he offered Jesus riches for worship. Jesus replied “Then Jesus told him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve only Him.”-Matthew 4:10
Undoubtedly, he will do it again, but this time it will be for the whole world and it will come with a clause. The clause will be that if you do not worship the Antichrist through his system that he will set in place, like worshiping his image and receiving his mark on your body, you will be put to death. Read Revelation 13:7-10.
If you don’t get the mark of the beast, you won’t eat. Are you willing to starve than to take it? Is food much more important than going to heaven. In Revelation 14:9-12, it states that if you do receive his mark, you will forfeit your chance to go to heaven permanently.
