Verse of the Day Q&A: Have You Decided To Enter Into God’s Protection?

Psalms 91:1-2

As for you, the one who lives in the shelter of the Most High, and resides in the protective shadow of the Sovereign One— 2 I say this about the Lord, my shelter and my stronghold, my God in whom I trust

Bible

Trusting God means to make Him your shelter and to live in His shadow which protects you by blocking evil things headed your way.

A stronghold means to be surrounded by a thick and high wall that keeps the enemy from reaching you.

God is those things to those who choose to trust Him with their lives.

  • Have you made Jesus your refuge?
  • What is keeping you from trusting in Jesus Christ?
  • Are you reading the Bible to know about Jesus or from some other sources?

Verse of the Day Q&A: As A Christian, What Gear Are You On?

Luke 9:62

But Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Bible

When a person gets saved, it is like receiving a new vehicle with only one gear “D” forward, there is no going back or apostatizing for a person with the Holy Spirit.

1. The “R” reverse means to go back to one sinful lifestyle.
2. The “N” neutral means to be a lukewarm Christian, political correctness or having some traits of the world and of Christ, like oil and water which does not mix.
3. The “P” park means that the believer is stagnant in his or her spiritual growth being in great danger.

  • What type of car are you in?
  • Is your car from the world or from the Lord?
  • What gear are you driving now?

Verse of the Day Q&A: Those With Disabilities, Are They Wonderfully Made By God?

Psalm 139:14

14 I will praise You because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, and I know this very well.

Bible

What about the people born with disabilities and deformities, were they wonderfully made? Yes, they were. The verse is not referring to physical appearance but to God’s image. By being created in God’s image, we can have a relationship with the Creator of the universe, Jesus Christ, be a blessing to others, and accomplish God’s will. Even those born with limited mobilities can be used greatly for God’s glory.

  1. Do you have a disability?
  2. How did God use your disability to bring Him glory?
