16 And he requires everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark: the beast’s name or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom: The one who has understanding must calculate the number of the beast, because it is the number of a man. His number is 666. -Revelation 13:16-18
The mark of the beast is connected to a currency that will be new for the world. For that to happen, there must be a worldwide economic collapse. Satan always used money to get people to worship him. He tried that with Jesus in the Book of Matthew 4:8-9 where he offered Jesus riches for worship. Jesus replied “Then Jesus told him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve only Him.” -Matthew 4:10
Undoubtedly, he will do it again, but this time it will be for the whole world and it will come with a clause. The clause will be that if you do not worship the Antichrist through his system that he will set in place, like worshiping his image and receiving his mark on your body, you will be put to death. Read Revelation 13:7-10.
If you don’t get the mark of the beast, you won’t eat. Are you willing to starve than to take it? Is food much more important than going to heaven. In Revelation 14:9-12, it states that if you do receive his mark, you will forfeit your chance to go to heaven permanently.
