There will be violent earthquakes, and famines and [plagues] in various places, and there will be terrifying sights and great signs from heaven.
Luke 21:11
[Plagues]
The word “plagues” in Greek means: The disease. The word is in a plural form as pestilence, which means that it will spread all over the world or that it might develop different strains, making it hard to control through a vaccine.
The plague that came to the world in 2019 is nothing compared to what is yet to come. The plague, which will be accompanied with war, famine, and dangerous wild animals, will kill 2 billion people (Revelation 6:7-8).
What would it take for you to wake up—if you haven’t yet given your life to Jesus Christ? Do you want to go through a time like no other, where many and I mean many people will perish?
The earthquakes, famines, plagues, deadly wild animals, as mentioned in Revelation 6, and heavenly disturbance—witnessing big asteroids hitting the earth—these things intensifying, hitting its climax in the Great Tribulation. For those who are left behind, they will see these scary events taking place. This world will get darker and darker but there is hope and that hope is Jesus Christ.
30 Then he escorted them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” -Acts 16:30-31
Jesus is coming soon with His angels to take with Him those who have given their lives to Him and have done His will here on earth.
15 For we say this to you by a revelation from the Lord: We who are still alive at the Lord’s coming will certainly have no advantage over those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words. -1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
Don’t let yourself be caught off-guard. Get right with the Lord, today. Believe in what Jesus did for you on the cross—He suffered on your behalf and paid for your sins. On the third day, Jesus rose from the grave, showing that death has no power over Him and that if we follow Jesus, when we die, our bodies will one day resurrect into a spiritual body that will never die like Jesus’ body.
Friend, ask Jesus to forgive you of all your sins and commit your life to Him. Also, ask Jesus to give you the Holy Spirit, who will clean your heart and make it new. The moment you get saved, you will be ready to do God’s will and live in such a way that will please the Lord. And remember, the message of Christ that you received cannot be hidden. You must share it with others, so that what happened to you, can happen to someone else.

The life of every living thing is in His hand, as well as the breath of all mankind.
-Job 12:10, BSB
For all men, women, and children have an expiration date set by God.
Only God who gives life, creating the body and spirit in mankind has the right to call a soul back to Him. We must understand that every living person, either old or very young, will expire someday. No one knows how long God has determined their lifespan. One’s death is unavoidable. That alone should make everyone take it very seriously. Everyone should make it a priority to be ready to meet Christ before your time comes.
A person’s life is written in God’s book [Psalm 139:16] from the moment they are born. Death is not the end of human life, but it is a transition from one dimension to another. Even if the body dies, the spirit keeps on living.
To be ready, all you have to do is place your faith in what Jesus did for you on the cross. Jesus paid for your sins with His life, and on the third day, He rose from the grave. He showed us that if we invite Him into our hearts, we will live because He lives.
