Verse By Verse Through Galatians (2:21)

21 I do not set aside the grace of God. For if righteousness comes through the law, Christ died for nothing. -Galatians 2:21 BSB

The word “grace” in Greek means God’s kindness or gift or favor to mankind (i.e., Jesus paying for the sins of the world even though men didn’t do anything to earn such a sacrifice from the Lord).

Paul makes it clear that if you set aside God’s gift (Christ’s righteousness applied to a person by faith), you are saying indirectly that you can live a better life than He did.

What must be understood is that no one can keep the law and accept the grace of God at the same time. A person cannot pay for a gift that is given to him. Either he pays for it and gets it by his means or receives it as a gift acknowledging that he could have never afforded it. Salvation is given to the humble while the prideful try to keep the law and earn salvation by their merit, rejecting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Lying

stop-lying

Being a liar is by far one of the worst characteristics that one can have. No other characteristic besides being a murderer is more like Satan than to be a liar since it is considered his native tongue, meaning everything that spews from his mouth is a half truth. To be a consistent liar is to hate truth and without knowing it, hating Jesus as well because He is the Truth. A known liar will never be taken seriously, and will not be entrusted with anything that’s important to someone’s life. The more your life is filled with lies the more you will convince yourself that, that is your reality.

No one can serve two masters. Either he will serve the Truth (Jesus) or the lie (Satan); you cannot partake of both since the Lord will vomit you out. Either you are committed to one or the other, you cannot tell the truth mixed with lies and be pleasing to the Lord. It would be like someone giving you a glass of water with a drop of cyanide, the cup containing 99% of water and 1% of poison. The question is, would you take a drink from the glass of water containing the 1% poison thinking to yourself the potency has been diluted to the point that it is safe to drink? It will still kill you. No amount of truth can cancel the lie that’s in the mix of what you’re saying. A half truth is a whole lie. One who tells a little white lie is as much a liar as the one who lies about everything, choosing to do Satan’s bidding.

Proverbs 6:16-19

16 The Lord hates six things; in fact, seven are detestable to Him: 17 arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that plots wicked schemes, feet eager to run to evil, 19 a lying witness who gives false testimony, and one who stirs up trouble among brothers.

Proverbs 12:22

Lying lips are detestable to the Lord, but faithful people are His delight.

Psalms 101:7

No one who acts deceitfully will live in my palace; no one who tells lies will remain in my presence.

Colossians 3:9

Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old self with its practices

1 John 2:4

The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” yet doesn’t keep His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

John 8:44

You are of your father the Devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of liars.

Leviticus 19:11

“You must not steal. You must not act deceptively or lie to one another.

Revelation 21:8

But the cowards, unbelievers, vile, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars—their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

What God Feels About Cross-Dressing

Deuteronomy 22:5

5 “A woman is not to wear male clothing, and a man is not to put on a woman’s garment, for everyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord your God.

Imagine you’re in trouble and you call the cops and the janitor happens to be the one that comes. He starts to change out of his janitor’s uniform in front of you and puts on the officer’s uniform instead and tries to assist you. Changing clothes does not change who you are.

When a man or a woman dresses in the opposite gender, they are pretending to be someone they are not. They are in full rebellion against God’s order. Looking like the opposite gender is not going to transform you into that, as much as a monkey dressing like a human is going to make it one, logically speaking.

cross-dressing

A person who is walking around as a cross-dresser is a walking lie. Lying to the eyes that behold them.

If God made you to look like a man or woman, why do you want to look like the opposite? What God creates is good but Satan wants to undo God’s goodness through His creation. If God created you as a man or woman, He created something good. Why try to undo what’s good from God to something that’s an abomination to the Lord?

Just because you feel better in women’s clothing doesn’t make it right. If stealing made you feel good would you steal? You know full well that stealing is wrong so because one feels good in doing something that’s morally wrong doesn’t justify the fact. Feelings do not determine what’s right but God alone determines what’s good.

Seek the Lord Jesus Christ today, while there’s time. Repent and put your faith in Jesus Christ and He will forgive all of your sins. Jesus died in your place and took your punishment upon Himself so that you may have the opportunity of eternal life in Jesus. No sin is too great for Jesus to forgive just ask Him and He will forgive you.
