Christians Under Attack: Spiritual Battles Seen Through Spiritual Eyes

christianbattle2

Imagine if you can see the spiritual warfare and battles between demons and Christians through spiritual eyes. This is how I see that war and battles fought in the fields of our minds.

Europe at one time was strong in the Lord, not without faults, but nevertheless, they held to the Word so let’s see that with spiritual eyes.

It was very early in the morning with fog all over the place. The Christian’s camp was behind a wall of long thick trees for protection against the enemy’s arrows. Christian watchmen were in place and you could hear absolutely nothing but the wind. From the distance, a watchman saw a small light heading to his direction. Amazed by this light he stayed still until it was too late. The arrow with fire at the tip struck the man’s neck and bleeding from his mouth he quickly ran to another watchman close by and died in his presence.

The other watchman with his eyes wide open heard the battle cry of demons running toward the camp to slaughter the Christians so this man (the watchman), ran for dear life to the camp to warn the Christians of an impending attack. Immediately a call to arms went throughout the camp and Christians were putting on the full armor of God. All the believers got in battle formation. They were like the sand of the seashore with beautiful silver shiny armor with each name of the armor engraved in each piece of armor. Christian soldiers who were assigned to prayer went ahead of the army of God knelt down in prayer to the Lord of lords and King of kings Jesus Christ, to ask for His protection and strength. The demons got in battle formation and a call went out for the demon archers to get ready. Arrow tips ignited with fire and the command was given to fire. The Lord was there with the Christians fighting their battle and a strong wind blew from the Lord so strong that all of the fiery arrows were blown right back to the demonic army who had to take cover from their own arrows. While they were taking cover, the Lord gave the command to attack and all the Christians ran to meet the dark army in battle. The cry was so loud it made the demonic army go into confusion running in all different directions. There was such a great slaughter that day only a few demons made out of the slaughter. Christians were victorious that day because the Lord fought their battle and won.

We win battles because we keep God’s Word and live according to it but now since the Devil knows he can’t do a frontal attack, he has to do a stealth one to kill us spiritually from within by taking us away from God’s Word and disarming us.

Numbers 25:1-3
While Israel was staying in the Acacia Grove, the people began to have sexual relations with the women of Moab. 2 The women invited them to the sacrifices for their gods, and the people ate and bowed in worship to their gods. 3 So Israel aligned itself with Baal of Peor, and the Lord’s anger burned against Israel.

Numbers 31:16
Yet they are the ones who, at Balaam’s advice, incited the Israelites to unfaithfulness against the LORD in the Peor incident, so that the plague came against the LORD’s community.

The verses above show how Satan destroys the believer in Jesus by hitting him from the side instead of the front so he won’t suspect it.

Islam is a device from Satan to bring fear and political correctness to shut the mouths of Christians speaking God’s Word which is a Satanic tactic so people won’t hear the truth. Homosexuality is being used by Satan to make Christians abandon God’s moral law in their lives which is found in the Word of God and the Devil is making so-called Christians through pressure from society conform to unbiblical views by accepting homosexuality as not being a sin. Europe is destroyed and Satan’s focus is now America. Whoever abandons God’s Word will get deceived and their soul destroyed.

For We Do Not Live On Bread Alone

Matthew 4:4

But He answered, “It is written: Man must not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”

The Bible is very special because without it no Christian can grow into a mature man of God, have the armor of God on and be strong enough to defeat the devil. We eat food because our bodies need the nourishment that food provides well, in the same way the word of God gives nourishment to our spirit and strengthens our faith in Christ so that we might live a life that pleases Him and have the strength to fight against the demonic deception. The word of God acts like a filter that the more you read the Bible the better your filter gets. The filter works like this: imagine someone comes to your door and want’s to share with you their “holy book” (The Book of Mormon, The Watchtower Magazine, The Qur’an) or even if they bring a Bible. How do you know that what they are saying is false doctrine or if from the Bible, interpreted correctly? If you know the Scriptures very well than anything that contradicts the Scripture you will pick up on it, having no affect on you whatsoever. Like a filter that doesn’t let anything through that would harm your body so in the same way your spiritual filter will keep false doctrine from taking root in your heart.

Jesus Wants To Rescue You

Jesus reaching out His hand
Jesus is reaching out His hand to rescue

John 3:16-19

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

To explain the verses above I would like to do it with an illustration.
People live in boats floating on a vast ocean. The problem is that everyone’s boat has a small hole. Some are smaller than others and others are much bigger. Everyone without exception are going to sink and drown, some quicker than others. There is good news though. There is a big ship that’s going around through the vast ocean looking for people to rescue from their sinking boats. That ship is called “The Savior” and the Captain’s name is Jesus Christ. Every time the Captain came across a sinking boat, He quickly pulls up to it and stops. He gets out and goes to the side of the ship and stretches out His right hand to the person who is in the sinking boat to rescue them.

The most tragic thing is when they say no to the Captain and want to stay with their sinking boat. The question arises, Why? The answer is that they will have to leave ALL of their stuff in the boat. Some have lots of money, family, friends, cars, houses, jobs, gold and etc. They would rather go down with the boat than part ways with their life that’s on the boat. But those who reach out their hands to the Captain and get pulled up to the ship, they are transformed with renewed strength and great joy, so much so that they help the Captain by trying to convince those that they come across of their sinking boats to get on the ship with them. They tell them that on the massive ship are plenty of rooms, food, and comfort. They continue that the Captain is so loving that they see Him as a Father who truly cares for them.

At the end of the ship’s voyage after going to the four corners of the vast ocean, it will head for land to where the Captain has a beautiful place which He has made for those He has rescued. The place is like a beautiful city that’s built in the middle of a garden with gorgeous mountains all around.

If the Captain came to you today and reached out His hand to pull you in, would you grab it?

Don’t wait for you don’t know how long you will stay afloat.

Side note: This was an illustration that I gave my children yesterday on our Bible Study. My son told me to share it on WordPress. I pray that you get blessed and if you don’t know Christ yet on a personal level, I hope that you give Him a chance and get to know Jesus Christ because He loves you deeply.
