How To Shield Yourself From Satan’s Arrows of Sexual Enticement

Numbers 31:15-16

15 Moses said to them, “Have you saved all the women alive? 16 These caused the children of Israel, through the word of Balaam, to act unfaithfully against the Lord concerning the thing of Peor, and there was a plague among the assembly of the Lord.

The thing that happened at Peor:

Numbers 25:1-3

While Israel dwelt in Shittim, the people began to commit harlotry with the women of Moab. 2 They called the people to the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and bowed down to their gods. 3 Israel joined himself to the Baal of Peor, and the anger of the Lord was inflamed against Israel.

The enemy’s formidable weapon against men are enchanting women to entice you into adultery. According to Ephesians 6:10-18, demons are behind these women, they not being aware are being used to cause Jesus’ followers to sin against Him.    

We men must keep our eyes pure because that is the entry way into our souls. This is Satan’s primary attack for entrance. How do we protect our eyes from letting darkness creep in? 

• Don’t watch anything that has women wearing almost nothing as to entice your minds.
• Don’t read anything in WordPress that’s sexual in nature because your mind have eyes as well and will convert the sexual words into images.
• Don’t look at porn magazines which is a landmine, throw it away immediately.

Job who was a righteous man knew Satan’s entry way into his life and what did Job do to combat that temptation?

Job 31:1

“I made a covenant with my eyes; why then should I look upon a young woman?

Luke 11:34-25

34 The eye is the lamp of the body. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. 35 Take heed therefore lest the light which is in you is darkness.

Through the Power of the Holy Spirit we can be victorious because our strength comes from the Lord who supplies all we need to overcome the wicked one. Walking by the Spirit do we block the devil’s sexual arrows that he tries to kill our faith with. 

To Walk in the Spirit:

• Everyday we must communicate with the Lord through prayer.
• Everyday we must learn God’s way of righteousness by reading His Word.
• Everyday we must do and act according to His Word so that we may change more into the image of Jesus Christ.

When we are in obedience, Jesus will supply us with His Power to defeat the devil’s attempts in making us fall into disgrace by adultery.  

According To Scripture, Can A Christian And The World Agree On Anything?

Last night I saw on YouTube an interview that Mr. President Trump had with David Muir from ABC News and the President said regarding Christian persecution and others as well that he wanted to help them according to the transcript below:

PRESIDENT TRUMP: When they’re shooting — when they’re chopping off the heads of our people and other people, when they’re chopping off the heads of people because they happen to be a Christian in the Middle East, when ISIS is doing things that nobody has ever heard of since Medieval times, would I feel strongly about waterboarding?

As far as I’m concerned we have to fight fire with fire. Now, with that being said I’m going with General Mattis. I’m going with my secretary because I think Pompeo’s gonna be phenomenal. I’m gonna go with what they say. But I have spoken as recently as 24 hours ago with people at the highest level of intelligence. And I asked them the question, “Does it work? Does torture work?” And the answer was, “Yes, absolutely.”

DAVID MUIR: You’re now the president. Do you want waterboarding?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: I don’t want people to chop off the citizens or anybody’s heads in the Middle East. Okay? Because they’re Christian or Muslim or anything else. I don’t want — look, you are old enough to have seen a time that was much different. You never saw heads chopped off until a few years ago.

Now they chop ’em off and they put ’em on camera and they send ’em all over the world. So we have that and we’re not allowed to do anything. We’re not playing on an even field. I will say this, I will rely on Pompeo and Mattis and my group. And if they don’t wanna do, that’s fine. If they do wanna do, then I will work for that end.

I wanna do everything within the bounds of what you’re allowed to do legally. But do I feel it works? Absolutely I feel it works. Have I spoken to people at the top levels and people that have seen it work? I haven’t seen it work. But I think it works. Have I spoken to people that feel strongly about it? Absolutely.

There are Christians in WordPress that keep mouthing off on Mr. Donald J Trump on how bad he is and they give their excuse to what that is but as you can see above in the transcript, he wants to help Christians and anyone else who’s getting their heads chopped off. 

The world hates President Trump and in scripture it says in John 15:18-19 18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

I see the President as a “Christian by association” who sadly has more sense than people who claim to be Christians in WordPress who do not have the wisdom to discern evil from an even greater evil.

I have never seen in my life as a believer in Jesus Christ so much immaturity in the Christian community. The logic is if you hate the President, it means that you preferred Hillary Clinton as President, that’s logic at work. I have seen Christians mock the President even though the Bible says to pray for the leaders which He the Living God has appointed in that office, sad really. Some Christian posts or comments that I have read made me slap my forehead in amazement of their ignorance of scripture application to what’s happening today.

I would put President Trump as King Cyrus who God used to help His people from their enemies which Mr. Trump is doing but baby immature Christians cannot see past their house door in what God is doing with this President. If Hillary Clinton was President imagine how bad morally the United States would have been and she wouldn’t care to think twice of the Christians dying by the hands of ISIS in the Middle East.

It is obvious Christians who hate Trump are in cahoots with the world, who hate him as well. The question for baby Christians is, why does the world hate Trump so much? The answer is because God is using him in a bigger picture that sadly, baby Christians cannot discern. Before you mouth off your grievances about Trump which are very surface, ask yourself, Am I any better than this man? and why do I agree with the world in this regard?

James 4:4

You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

Did Jesus Rebuke Peter Or Satan?

Matthew 16:21-23

21 From then on Jesus began to point out to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, be killed, and be raised the third day. 22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, “Oh no, Lord! This will never happen to You!”
23 But He turned and told Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns, but man’s.”

We know that when Jesus said “Get behind Me, Satan!, He was referring to Peter. The word Satan in Greek means adversary which is to be against someone so Peter at the time was against God’s will, in the sense of trying to stop Jesus from being killed, not knowing the implication if Jesus wouldn’t have died on the cross. In the Book of John, we see that the fallen angel Satan did want Jesus to die as seen in John 13:18,21,24-27 which says, “18 I’m not speaking about all of you; I know those I have chosen. But the Scripture must be fulfilled: The one who eats My bread has raised his heel against Me. 21 When Jesus had said this, He was troubled in His spirit and testified, “I assure you: One of you will betray Me!”
24 Simon Peter motioned to him to find out who it was He was talking about. 25 So he leaned back against Jesus and asked Him, “Lord, who is it?”
26 Jesus replied, “He’s the one I give the piece of bread to after I have dipped it.” When He had dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas, Simon Iscariot’s son. 27 After Judas ate the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Therefore Jesus told him, “What you’re doing, do quickly.”

When Jesus said “What you’re doing, do quickly”, He was not only talking to Judas but to Satan the fallen angel since he entered Judas to use him to betray Jesus and put Him to death.

As Christians, if we are ignorant of God’s Word and are trying to follow Jesus without knowing what’s inside the Book, we can be found to be going against the very Word that we claim to follow as Peter did when he rebuked Jesus and tried to stop Him from going to the cross.
