Moses Spoke With Jesus On Mount Sinai

Picture on the left: Moses speaking with God on the mountain, Picture on the right: Moses and Elijah speaking with Jesus on the mountain

Exodus 34:29

29 As Moses descended from Mount Sinai—with the two tablets of the testimony in his hands as he descended the mountain—he did not realize that the skin of his face shone as a result of his speaking with the Lord.

Matthew 17:1-3

After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and his brother John and led them up on a high mountain by themselves. 2 He was transformed in front of them, and His face shone like the sun. Even His clothes became as white as the light. 3 Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.

Before the tabernacle was erected, Moses always spoke to God on the mountain. Since he was in close proximity his face absorbed God’s glory. In the New Testament, the Book of Matthew chapter 17 we see Moses speaking with Jesus on a mountain who was transformed into a walking sun and now the reader will understand why when Moses was on earth his face shone like the sun. In Mt. Sinai, it was Jesus whom Moses spoke with.

John 14:7-9

7 “If you know Me, you will also know My Father. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”
8 “Lord,” said Philip, “show us the Father, and that’s enough for us.”
9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been among you all this time without your knowing Me, Philip? The one who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

What Is A False Prophet?

For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. -Ephesians 6:12

“Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravaging wolves.”

 Matthew 7:15

What is a false prophet? A person with the goal of destroying your faith by bringing you a false gospel by using the Bible with small adjustments to make you get your faith off track. The way to see this adjustment is to concentrate on the person of Jesus Christ. The false prophets will aim at Jesus because He is the source of our salvation. The deceiver wants you to believe in a different Jesus so that your prayers will be rerouted to a false Christ/demon, making your prayers ineffective to fight against the demonic forces.

Below is a list of cults that have developed a false Jesus and that He is not the only way to the Father which false prophets will introduce to deceive you, you have been warned, stay alert.

1. Jesus didn’t die on the cross. (Islam and Judaism)

2. Jesus didn’t rise bodily from the grave. (Jehovah Witnesses, Islam, and Judaism)

3. Jesus is not the Son of God (Islam, Judaism)

4. Denying the Deity of Christ that Jesus is God. (Islam, Judaism, Christadelphian, Jehovah Witnesses, and Mormonism)

5. A denial of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Oneness Pentecostal, Jehovah Witnesses, Christadelphian, Islam, Mormonism, and Judaism)

6. Jesus was created. (Jehovah Witnesses, Mormonism, Christadelphian, Islam, and Judaism)

7. Jesus didn’t pay for your entire sins on the cross, you have to contribute to your salvation (works based salvation). (Jehovah Witnesses, Mormonism, Christadelphian, Catholicism)

8. Jesus wasn’t born of a virgin. (Judaism)

9. Jesus is not the Messiah/Son of God because He didn’t complete Old Testament prophecies. (Judaism, Islam)

10. Those who reject the inerrancy of scripture, Jesus having the title: The Word of God. (Liberal Christianity which is the following: {Presbyterian Church of the USA, Methodist, and Episcopalian}, Mormonism, and Islam)

If you belong to a congregation where one or all of what’s on the list are taught, you have found yourself to be in the presence of a false teacher who is determined to destroy your faith, so watch out!
