John 15:18-19
18“If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of it, the world hates you.
Even though you might think that you are unloved by some people or even those that are close to you. Remember that no matter your stands with people in this world, Jesus will always love you and will never leave you nor forsake you, now and forever (Deuteronomy 31:6). As Christians, Jesus said that we will be hated by the world but that’s okay because that means that you are living a life that pleases the Lord. When the world loves you then you should worry because the world is hostile toward Christ since the world is under the influence of the devil. You must prepare your mind for battle, for the flesh desires the pleasures that the world offers which wages war with your inner man. Remember this, the Lord overcame the world so by His strength you will overcome the world too.
1 John 5:4
for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
